Dr. Myatich will soon begin the next chapter of his life. With bittersweet emotions we would like to announce his last day at Hidden Valley and East Maiden Animal Clinics will be December 31, 2018 where after he will enjoy retirement.

George attended Penn State University and graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and he was a part of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. In 1974, he graduated from The University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. After graduation, George worked for Castle Shannon Animal Hospital and in 1978 he and Dr. Tyler Proskine opened Hidden Valley Animal Clinic.

George is pleasantly married to his wife Louise and they have 8 lovely grandchildren. He has been an active member of the McMurray Lions Club and has been the president 4 times. During George’s retirement he plans to do more volunteer work for the Lions Club, Genealogy, and he plans on taking a trip to Croatia where he will continue to work on Genealogy. George is excited to enjoy retirement!

A lot of memories have been made over the years and it has been an honor to have Dr. Myatich as a part of the Hidden Valley and East Maiden Family. We know how much his clients meant to him and how much he will miss seeing them. We are saddened to see him go but we are thrilled for him to finally start retirement!

Dr. Myatich will be available for your pet’s care until the end of this year and we look forward to adding another Veterinarian to our team.
